UWA Showcases Vivid Ecosystem Innovations at BIRTV2026
From August 19–22, UWA participated in BIRTV2026 in Beijing, presenting the latest developments of the Vivid ecosystem across standards, content, devices and real-world applications. The UWA exhibition areas welcomed nearly 2,000 visitors throughout the event.
As of August 2026, UWA has published 87 group standards, covering Audio Vivid, HDR Vivid, UHD equipment, AI audiovisual applications, content production, XR, 3D and other emerging fields, providing a solid foundation for the continued growth of the UHD industry.
The exhibition highlighted the expanding Vivid cinema ecosystem. Vivid cinemas have now been established in 20 cities across China, with 25 professional screening halls, while more than 50 films have been released in Vivid format since summer 2025.
The Vivid Immersive Home Experience demonstrated how Audio Vivid and HDR Vivid can bring cinema-quality audiovisual experiences into the home through integrated content and device solutions.
Beyond home entertainment, UWA showcased innovations across 3D displays, AI/AR glasses, automotive entertainment and personal devices. Nine leading AI/AR eyewear brands presented products spanning everyday use, sports, entertainment and AI interaction, while Jupiter SR demonstrated glasses-free 3D display solutions for digital art, exhibitions and commercial applications.
At the Vivid Immersive Park, jointly presented by UWA and the China Association of Recording Engineers, visitors experienced Audio Vivid applications across automotive, live entertainment, home and content production. Featured vehicles included the ARCFOX Wendao V9, NIO ES8 and ES9, demonstrating the integration of Vivid technologies with intelligent in-car systems and content ecosystems.
BIRTV2026 provided another valuable opportunity to connect with industry partners and demonstrate a complete UHD ecosystem — from standards and content production to devices and real-world applications.
