From May 28 to 31, 2026, the IFTT 2026 “Sound Creates the Future” Technology Conference was successfully held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Guangzhou. The event was hosted by the China Association of Recording Engineers, supported by the UHD World Association, and co-organized by Prolight + Sound Guangzhou.

Held alongside the 24th Prolight + Sound Guangzhou, the conference centered on Audio Vivid and created the Vivid Immersive Park, featuring immersive scenarios such as the Sound Healing Island, In-Car Audio Cabin, Home Audiovisual Space, and Immersive Performance Stage. It showcased the application of spatial audio across in-car entertainment, home audiovisual systems, live performance, content production, health and wellness, and other fields.

Full-Scenario Experiences Showcasing the Potential of Audio Vivid

As a key highlight, the In-Car Audio Cabin presented six mass-produced vehicle models equipped with Vivid audiovisual technology, including NIO ES9, NIO ES8, EXEED EX7, EXLANTIX ET, AITO M9, and VOYAH Dreamer. Visitors experienced immersive content from platforms such as Himalaya, NetEase Cloud Music, iQIYI, Tencent Video, Huawei Video, and Huawei Music through multi-speaker in-car sound systems.

Today, Vivid technology has been adopted by 21 automotive brands across 50 vehicle models, with more than 2 million vehicles equipped, becoming a mainstream solution for upgrading intelligent cockpit audiovisual experiences.

In the Home Audiovisual Space, BWOS presented six product families for home and in-car applications, and launched its new Audio Vivid home smart speaker all-in-one 430, demonstrating the commercial potential of the Vivid audiovisual ecosystem.

The Sound Healing Island, built on Audio Vivid technology, brought together Shanghai Chefcable, 797 Audio, BVE Multi-sensory Music & Digital Healing Hub, Racpro, and other partners to create an immersive healing space integrating acoustic capture, signal transmission, sound field reproduction, and multi-sensory interaction. The experience combined spatial audio with wellness applications, offering audiences a new form of soothing and immersive listening.

Full-Chain Technologies Building the Audio Vivid Production Ecosystem

The conference also featured an Audio Vivid content production area, where ACE, DMT, YeahTone, CTVIT, RFT, EMX, and other companies presented solutions covering audio acquisition, production, broadcasting, transmission, and playback.

Highlights included immersive audio production systems, 5.1.4 and 9.1.6 production workflows, cloud-based Audio Vivid distribution, HOA 3D sound microphones, and loudspeaker solutions compliant with Audio Vivid standards. Together, these technologies demonstrated a complete Audio Vivid production ecosystem and supported the standardization and industrialization of spatial audio.

Immersive Performance Stage Brings Together Forums, Performances and Talent Development

As the core activity venue of the Vivid Immersive Park, the Immersive Performance Stage hosted a series of forums, live performances, training sessions, work showcases, and achievement releases.

The Spatial Audio Ecosystem Forum gathered industry experts, enterprise representatives, and academic scholars to discuss spatial audio standards, in-car audiovisual experiences, home cinema, and 3D sound pickup. Immersive live performances, including string quartet and traditional Chinese music sessions, demonstrated the appeal of Audio Vivid in live production.

The event also featured technical training on Audio Vivid workflows, outstanding 3D sound works from the 2025 Sound Design and Works Innovation Skills Competition, and the IFTT 2026 Theme Ceremony, including the 10th anniversary celebration, strategic cooperation signing, new product launches, and awards for the Audio Vivid Creation Competition.

Ecosystem Collaboration Accelerates Spatial Audio Development

With Audio Vivid as the connecting link, IFTT 2026 brought together terminal manufacturers, technology companies, content platforms, research institutions, and universities, forming a full ecosystem covering technology R&D, scenario implementation, content creation, and talent development.

From in-car entertainment to home cinema, from professional production to sound healing, IFTT 2026 demonstrated China’s growing strength in spatial audio and promoted the ultra-high-definition audio industry toward broader scenarios, higher quality, and intelligent development.

Looking ahead, as Audio Vivid technology continues to evolve and its ecosystem becomes more mature, spatial audio will further expand into mobility, home entertainment, culture and tourism, media, healthcare, and wellness, bringing users more immersive, realistic, and emotionally engaging listening experiences.
