Standards Working Group
- Focus on the standardization construction of the UHD video industry.
- Give full play to the role of alliance standards in technical support and basic guarantees for the industry.
- Promote the scientific, efficient, healthy, and orderly development of the UHD video industry.
- To standardize UHD video quality and carry out standardization related to UHD video industry.
- Complete the tasks assigned by the alliance, and actively cooperate with other working groups of the alliance.
Intellectual Property Working Group
- Carry out intellectual property research in the field of ultra-high-definition video industry.
- Formulate intellectual property policies of the alliance.
- Have an open-source code sharing system.
- Help the alliance to apply for and maintain. intellectual property rights.
- Process patent claims in standard items.
- Complete the work assigned by the alliance and actively cooperate with other working groups of the alliance.
Policy Research Working Group
- Face the development needs of the UHD video industry and applications.
- Build a bridge of communication between government, industry enterprises, and local industry resources.
- Provide authoritative research and consulting services for industry development.
- Research the development strategy, policy, and regulatory requirements of the ultra-high-definition video industry
- Analyze the major problems faced by the industry development; and put forward measures and suggestions.
- Participate in the drafting of industrial development plans and industrial policies.
- Lead the writing and publishing of industrial development research results.
- Complete the work assigned by the alliance and actively cooperate with other working groups of the alliance.
Content Production and Broadcasting Working Group
- Promote the coordinated development of the UHD content industry and promote upstream and downstream cooperation.
- Carry out the improvement of production and broadcasting technology to promote technology application
- Develop content evaluation to promote industry self-discipline.
- Promote the development of the content industry and achieve content prosperity.
Industrial Ecology Promotion Working Group
- Carry out joint marketing with industry chain companies (industrial ecological partners such as content creation, service platforms, and equipment manufacturers) to jointly promote the development of the ultra-high-definition video industry.
- Promote the application of UHD in the industry pilot work.
- Summarize successful experience and copy and promote.
- Standardize the ultra-high-definition standard of terminal products
- Promote the application of the consumer end.
- Improve the consumer experience and perception of ultra-high-definition.
- Promote the construction and application of the standard end-to-end.
- Create an industrial chain ecology.
- Promote the application of chips and terminals (TVs, mobile phones, set-top boxes).
Video Experience Working Group
- Formulate video service user experience standards, and conduct scientific tests and comprehensive evaluations on the user experience links involved in various fields of the end-to-end industry chain through testing.
- Continue to promote group standards for video experience to become industry standards and incorporate into enterprise standards.
- Establishing a general standard system covering a wider range will help build a unified and complete video industry chain system, and popularize video consumption faster and better.
